Look at these amazing DIY Cardboard Castles! For a Children Party, or just if you want your kids to have their own Castle at Home :) A simple idea that achieves the desired effect.
First, you need cardboard boxes. They have to be big enough, so your children can fit in there.
As you can see in the picture, you´ll find it´s made with one box in horizontal and two in vertical. Cut the windows and the doors, and add the tower details using cardboard.

To open and close the doors, you can make it like in the picture. Cut some parts, so they are going to be connected to the rest of the box. Another option is to make cardboard hinges.
