Nice Decoration Ideas for your Little Mermaid Party.
Probably you have already seen this picture. It is shown in the introduction of the kids party section and in the idea index for Little Mermaid themed parties. It was my daughter´s birthday party when she was four years old. Let´s have a look to the details:
- Little Mermaid Piñatas: This a guatemalan piñata. I didn´t do it, I bought it. It is made in three sizes. The one in the picture is big, but this is normal in kids parties celebrated in Guatemala.
- Wall Decoration: Waves and algas are made of cellophan paper. Bubbles are made of gloss paper. Make circles of different sizes and use blue marker to draw the edges and the sparkle. If you find it difficult to detail the bubbles, have a look at the upper side of the piñata.
- Balloon Fishes: Place the balloon horizontally. The part with the knot is going to be the tail. On the opposite side draw the face with permanent marker. Make the fins and the tail out of gloss paper and stick them on the balloon with double- sided tape. Stick on the upper fin a transparent thread to hang up the fishes from the roof at different heighta. when the party is over, you can give these fishes to the guests as souvenirs.
- More Ornaments: You can´t see them perfectly in the picture. There were aquatic animal toys all around the place. There was a treasure chest full of plastic necklaces.
Make your guests feel like if they were under the sea, when they arrive. It was a success! When they went into the house, they said they feel like this: under the sea.
