Great Treasure Map Invitations.
It is an Original way to make Invitations for a Pirate or Adventure Party.
Juts print onto normal printing paper one of the moulds you may find below. The size is up to you. Cut the edges. so they will look antique.
When they are ready, crumple them into a ball. Then, smooth them out again.
Place three layers of kitchen paper towels over the table. Put a tea bag in boiling water. When it dyes the water, pass it over the invitations.
You can write onto them the invitation wording and decorate them as you like, after or before the tea bag.
If you roll them up, your guests expectations about the party will be higher.

** Matt James Tip: To give a nicer effect to the invitations, put the treasure map inside of a bottle. When the map is already rolled up, wrap it with a ribbon and leave a piece of ribbon outside of the bottle, so your guests can take it out easily. Put a bit of sand inside of the bottle and spray it with marine odor oil. The effect will be great and professional.
Be careful when doing these kind of invitations, since your guests´ expectations will be high. It means the party must be thrown with the same quality and impact of the invitations. Here you have some treasure map templates:
